Human Growth Hormone HGH FAQ's
At what age should HGH therapy begin?
A: Human growth hormone is at its highest during adolescence, it begins to decline in the 20's. There are various opinions concerning the best time to begin anti-aging therapy.
By age 30 the effects of decreasing HGH are usually already beginning to become apparent, and by the mid to late 30's that decrease has usually already brought about noticeable changes.
At age 30 I believe that most can benefit by taking safe supplements. We in anti-aging medicine believe it is better to begin anti-aging therapy at a younger age, when our HGH is already decreasing, but is not yet grossly deficient.
The individual can have his/her blood IGF-1 level checked, and should discuss it with his/her private healthcare provider.

Is it safe for pregnant women to take HGH products?
A: Pregnant women should not take any type of health product or supplement unless it is specifically prescribed by their doctor.
At this time we are unaware of any clinical studies that show human growth hormone therapy to be safe for use during pregnancy.
Does HGH help to improve libido and sexual function?
A: Human growth hormone is known to improve libido and sexual function, as well as improve testosterone in men, and improve estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone in women. We have had numerous positive reports from men and women in regards to improving their symptoms of decreased sex hormones.
Are HGH patches, topical creams, or pills better than sprays?
A: No, the sublingual (under the tongue) route is the preferred route of administration due to the fact that the skin under the tongue is much thinner with more superficial blood access, and so sprays are better absorbed than patches and topical creams. All the pill, tablet, capsule, and powder products do not contain any form of human growth hormone. They go through the digestive tract and are made up of ingredients such as amino acids, vitamins, and/or herbs.

Can HGH products make the pituitary gland lazy?
A: No, only the HGH injections can cause the pituitary gland to become lazy because only they can give the body an amount of human growth hormone that can replace that made naturally by the pituitary gland. If the body receives the HGH it needs through injection, the pituitary gland won't release as much. The only human growth hormone contained in any non-injection product is homeopathic HGH, so the amount used is very small. For this reason all non-injection products cannot cause the pituitary gland to become lazy.

What about increasing the risk of cancer?
A: There are various opinions concerning HGH and cancer. I would like to clarify that healthy amounts of the real human growth hormone made by the body is believed to help increase the cancer fighting cells and strengthen the immune system.
Non-injection human growth hormone supplements have not been shown to increase the risk of cancer. I personally look at it this way, when we are young, the HGH made by our pituitary gland is at its highest level, and at that time we are at our lowest risk for cancer.
As we get older our HGH release decreases and our risk for cancer increases.
