If you are trying to decide which product is best, you should know that independent randomized double-blind placebo-controlled IGF-1 clinical studies measure the effectiveness of a formula at increasing HGH.

Because human growth hormone is only in the bloodstream for a few minutes before being taken in by the liver and converted in growth factors, measuring the "HGH level" is very involved and time consuming, and more importantly can be dangerous.

Doctors and researchers instead check the patient's IGF-1 (insulin-like growth factor-1) level, since it is stable in the bloodstream longer, and is a direct reflection of the amount of growth hormone in the body.
