The Types of Human Growth Hormone TherapyThere are 3 types of HGH therapy: injections, releasers (also called secretagogues, precursors, enhancers), and homeopathic HGH sprays, which are also releasers. All the different products available fall into one of these 3 categories.
#1: HGH Injections

#2: HGH Sprays
Besides containing homeopathic growth hormone the homeopathic HGH sprays are also considered releasers because they can help the pituitary gland to increase its own release of human growth hormone to a more healthy level. However, homeopathic sprays will not cause the pituitary gland to release more growth hormone than is optimum for the individual. Please note: not all sprays contain homeopathic human growth hormone; some contain only amino acids, vitamins, and/or herbs. Proper homeopathic HGH products made in a U.S. FDA approved lab are deemed "medicines" by the FDA and so are closely regulated by their drug laws. Such products are FDA registered and have an FDA "national drug code" (NDC) number. In clinical studies, the most effective products are the sprays that contain homeopathic human growth hormone. #3: HGH Releasers, Secretagogues, Precursors, Enhancers
Such products are deemed "dietary supplements" by the U.S. FDA and so are regulated by the FDA's "food" laws. Their main ingredients are amino acids, vitamins, and/or herbs. They are sold online and in health food stores. Please note: Although homeopathic HGH has its own category, homeopathic sprays are also releasers because they help the pituitary gland to increase its own release of growth hormone if needed. **There are also some prescription-only human growth hormone releasers such as GHRH (growth hormone releasing hormone) available outside the U.S. and drug companies are currently working on various other prescription-only releasers.
HGH Patches No prescription required: Some companies have brought out patches and topical creams and they claim their patch or cream is as good as, or is better than sprays or pills.
