Some Realities of Today's Online HGH Marketby Lisa Wells, RN Human growth hormone products/supplements have been around since the 1990's. I have worked in this area of health full time since early 1999, and I am committed to offering safe and effective supplements. However, I am troubled by some of the practices I am seeing in the HGH market. Several years ago the idea of using human growth hormone to treat aging exploded onto the scene through TV talk shows, infomercials, radio advertisements, magazine advertisements, and of course, online. Obviously with this new wide spread interest came numerous new supplements to the market, along with many people with various backgrounds wishing to make money selling them. Multi-level marketing companies offer products, and they recruit others to sell. These sellers can then make whatever claims they like on their web sites. Unfortunately, as interest increased, so too has the sales hype and untruthful claims being made to sell products increased. It can be hard to know whom one may trust in this highly competitive area, and it can be very confusing, trying to understand all the conflicting information being given on the many different web sites. I regret to say that some undesirable types have also been drawn into this market. I have been informed that illegal practices are going on, and I have clients who have told me of their bad experiences with these types. I believe the information to be true because of what I see online, and because of my own personal experiences. Due to these dishonest practices I feel certain that some people will decide that everything to do with human growth hormone is hype, and so they may never even try any product. Over the years I have received phone calls from different people identifying themselves as representatives for pharmaceutical companies. They were peddling products with no clinical testing for effectiveness. They bragged about how cheap I could purchase their products because they were from a source outside the United States. They assured me I could make much more profit if I sold their product, but with my own label. Of course I was not interested in their products because they had no clinical studies to prove effectiveness, and because they were low quality, however, the market is now flooded with such products. I remain in this business after all these years because I offer only safe, effective, high quality products that I take myself. Our clients continue to reorder because they are very happy with the results, and they trust us to continue to offer the best. Lisa Wells, RN
